Once upon a summer in 2018, I decided to do a talk on personal branding. As part of prep, I mocked up a website to demonstrate how easy it is to set up a home on the internet. I made a decision to keep the site in some form, and so Comms Over Coffee became a permanent fixture.
My vision for this space is that it is a fun, experimental space and a documentation of my journey as a communications professional with all the sugar and spice. It is the honest story of the ups and downs, the highs and lows of public relations and marketing all while sipping on my coffee.
A little bit about me: I have been in the communications sphere for more than 10 years as a journalist, press officer and communications officer in many sectors. On a daily basis, I do everything from media relations, email marketing, internal communications, digital marketing and journalism.
